Good news & good fortune!

With the close of a wonderful 2012 Harvest comes good news:

We entered the Denver International Wine Label Competition and took home first place (Gold) for both categories!

Our 2011 dry rosé of pinot noir won the ‘Individual Wine Label Design’ category.

Our main line of wines won the ‘Wine Label Series’ category:

Our REDS lineup.

Our Whites lineup. One big happy family of wines.

My inspiration for our label art comes from our shangri-la-like gardens & nature.

Uncle Mike’s “special”  Zinnia’s. Wow, right?! Mama Mui has her magical touch ~ they grew like crazy!

Vibrant & whimsical but also very precise and patterned.

Can you tell I like color?

Hello, Dahlia!

GOOD NEWS PART II

We also recently entered 18 of our current and to-be-released wines into the Idaho Wine Competition. 17 of our wines walked away with medals! Making a wide portfolio of many wines is enjoyable & rewarding – yet challenging – so it’s a nice reassurance that they are consistently winning medals. We’re especially happy that the 2010 bigger reds did well considering that they’re still a bit young and we haven’t even released them yet. Great work in the vineyard & the cellar, dad & Mike!

Cheers to our 2011 Viognier winning a GOLD medal!
